Today I started the next step of my direct extruder project. After I did my first full test print (Thematically suitable for the season).
Even I had no material cooling at all the first result is quite good. For sure the parameters in Simply3D gives still room for improvement – because I have no experience with direct extruding.
The design of the air outlet for material cooling. It will get a radial fan like the extruder tube cooler. But the air guiding will be more complicated. The available space it decreasing and the air has to reach the nozzle tip from all directions. We will see…..
